That is what this series is about.

The freedom of not following.

Telling fragments of stories.

The layering, the line work, is about history, and story-telling. It's about the slight embellishments as we retell a story. It's about what the audience takes away with them.

 

It's also about the fact that I live on an island in the river, that I breathe, swim, and dream of this river. The coming and going of the tides, and the reappearance of the mud flats have infiltrated the broader narrative of this story.
